Admission

Bachelor of Education (Science)(Subject on offer: Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology)

i. Minimum Mean Grade of C+ and above at KCSE OR
ii. Applicants for B.Ed. (Science) MUST have at least Grade C [Plain] and above in Mathematics and C+ [plus] in the two prospective teaching subjects at KCSE Level.

Day Programmes
Venue: AUC

Bachelor of Education (Arts) (Subjects on offer: Mathematics, Geography, History, Religion, Business Studies, English, Literature, and Kiswahili)

i. Minimum Mean Grade of C+ and above at KCSE OR
ii. Applicants for B.Ed. (Science) MUST have C+ [plus] in the two prospective teaching subjects at KCSE Level.

Currently the School of Education and Social Sciences is the largest in the University College, hosting a total number of 269 students, enrolled in the first to third years of study. In the 2020/2021 academic year, scheduled to begin in September, 2020, the School looks forward to admitting a total number of 150 first year students in the two Bachelor of education programmes.

The School of Education and Social Sciences is composed of invaluable, young and vibrant faculty members, who display high levels of professionalism in their service at Alupe University College. They work selflessly and demonstrate team spirit and great dedication in their work.
